Le Banneton is an idyllic café in the French style, located on Rue Nokeokou-mane across the street from La Terrasse Restaurant.
La Banneton offers breakfast, brunch and lunch items as well as fresh baked artisan breads and sweets.
The interior has comfortable seating, air conditioning, and a pleasant ambiance thanks in part to a satellite radio providing tasteful music selections.
Outdoor seating is available under a generous-sized awning.
Several vegetarian options are available, including quiches, salads, La Tartine Marie, French toast, and bakery items.
No highchairs are available, but two of the indoor tables offer seating in low stuffed chairs that might be manageable for a toddler.
Open Monday-Saturday 7am to 7pm, Sundays 7am to 1:30pm

Joma is a bakery/coffee shop with twolocations around Vientiane. The Nam Phu location is usually packed throughout the day with tourists using it as a haven due to its clean atmosphere and quality food. With
parking being scarce near Nam Phu during the day, many expats now use Joma’s water park location for their breakfast and lunch outings.
The Nam Phu and water park locations both offer indoor, air conditioned seating (including several stuffed chairs) and outdoor seating on the patio.
At least two restaurant-quality highchairs are available for children at the both the Nam Phu and Waterpark locations.
In all locations, one may peruse copies of the Bangkok Post or Vientiane Times. WiFi access is available for purchase.
Vegetarian options available are: Garden Salad, Greek Salad, Eggplant Lasagna, Spinach Quiche (22,000 kip), Vegetarian Sandwich, Vegetarian Pizza (18,000 kip), and a selection of creamed soups.
